They also include specifications on the companies the respective persons work with. The statistics are structured according to industries and regions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">They are obtained from social insurance registrations by employers. Among others, the industry-specific data provide important information for labour market and employment research and the labour market policy; the regional allocation of companies is highly relevant, among others, when distributing the local shares in VAT revenues.
