Dr. Peter Kupka

Peter Kupka studied Psychology at the University of Bremen. From 1988 to 1995, he was a researcher at the University of Bremen and was awarded his doctorate in 1993 (Dr. phil.) From 1995 to 2001, he was a senior researcher at the Sociological Research Institute (SOFI) in Göttingen. Peter Kupka has been with the IAB since 2002. His research focuses on the counselling and placement processes in employment agencies (Arbeitsagenturen) and job centres (Jobcenter), the situation of mentally ill people on the labour market as well as the implementation of the “Participation Opportunities Act” (Teilhabechancengesetz).
