Assistant Professor Anna D’Ambrosio

Anna D’Ambrosio holds a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Trento (Italy). Her PhD thesis focused on the relationships between migration, trade, and innovation. She spent four months at the IAB as a visiting researcher in 2015, dealing with the effects of diversity for start-up innovation. Following this, she joined the University of Turin (Italy) for a Post-Doc programme in labour economics and policy evaluation. Since December 2017 she is Assistant Professor of Applied Economics at the Polytechnic of Turin. She has ongoing teaching and research cooperation activities with the UN System and in particular with the International Training Centre of the ILO and with IOM- UN Migration. Her works have been published on Research Policy, Regional Studies, the Journal of Technology Transfer and Social Choice and Welfare.
