Dr Stefan Tübbicke

Dr Stefan Tübbicke studied economics at the Humboldt University of Berlin. He then completed his Master’s degree in Economics at the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia in Canada. Until September 2020, he worked at the University of Potsdam as an academic assistant at the Chair of Empirical Economic Research, where he also completed his doctorate in Economics. He successfully completed his doctoral studies at the University of Potsdam in September 2020 with the defense of his dissertation entitled “Essays on Start-Up Subsidies for the Unemployed and Methods for Causal Inference”.

Since October 2020, Dr Stefan Tübbicke has been working as a post-doc at the IAB in the research area “Basic Income Support and Activation”. His research focuses on the evaluation of labor market policy and methods of causal inference.
