Tanja Buch studied sociology at the University of Hamburg (degree in 2001). She completed her doctorate 2006 as a researcher at the University of Hamburg. The title of her dissertation was “Regional Mobility on the German Labour Market: A Theoretical and Empirical Analysis of Spatial Mismatch Unemployment”. Since 2007 Dr Buch is a senior researcher at IAB Northern Germany.
