Dr Friedrich Poeschel

Friedrich Poeschel is an economist working on migration and asylum. After obtaining a doctorate in labour economics at the University of Oxford, he worked at the IAB and the German public employment service. For six years, he analysed migration and integration policies as an economist at the OECD and then at the Migration Policy Centre of the European University Institute in Italy. He is currently a senior analyst in the Asylum Knowledge Centre of the European Union Agency for Asylum (Malta).
