Dr Ehsan Vallizadeh

Dr Ehsan Vallizadeh studied economics at the University of Bonn and holds a PhD in International Economics from Maastricht University.

He then worked as a research associate at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in the research department “Migration and International Labour Studies (INTER). Since 2024, he has been working as a senior research analyst in the statistics department of the Federal Employment Agency (BA).

His research focuses on policy-relevant empirical analysis of international migration, the integration of migrants and refugees as well as the labour market effects of migration and demographic change.
